The UNAA-UK Executive is responsible for the day-to-day running of the association including;
– strategic planning, financial and organisatonal management, and making high level decisions the serves the best interest of the association and in line with its objectives, vision and mission
– steering the group to meet its set objectives, strengthening the alumni through membership drive, organising conventions/events and learning opportunities.
– building enthusiasm, commitment and motivation within the members, develops its profile through alumni engagement activities, and working together with other alumni groups at home and in diaspora to positively impact the alma mater

Monica Allison
President
Monica is a highly accomplished IT Project Professional, holding PMP and PMI-ACP certifications, alongside an MA in Information Technology Management in Business. She is also a Certified Financial Education Coach.
Her exceptional expertise is matched by her dedication to giving back. She generously mentors individuals in their careers, supports community initiatives, and contributes to youth and faith-based projects that empower and uplift others.
As a One World International Family (OWIF) Leader, Monica fosters connections across diverse backgrounds, building faith-filled communities. Collaborating with other leaders, she mentors young people, nurturing their confidence, faith, and sense of purpose. Monica’s commitment to empowering others is evident in all aspects of her work, driven by a passion to see individuals thrive and realise their full potential.
Benard Umeh
Vice President
A graduate of Electronic Engineering (UNN). He is a Director at SquareBit Consulting Limited UK and currently works as a Software Consultant for Deutsche Bank in Luxembourg. Some of his hobbies are travelling, football and dancing. He also loves farming, He is a member of both the British and Nigeria Boer Goat Farmers Association.
Chinedu Nevo
General Secretary
Chinedu had his Bachelor and Master’s degree in Economics from UNN, Master’s in Energy Policy, and currently completing his PhD degree focusing on Strategy and Business Innovation at the Open University Business School. He is a young enthusiastic changemaker who is passionate about supporting impactful organisations to make data and research-driven decisions.
Chinedu believes in the significant impacts of UNAA-UK on the lives of current UNN students. He also believes that UNAA-UK can contribute immensely to the structural development of the University of Nigeria.
Jacinta Nwaneri
Assistant Secretary
Jacinta graduated from school of nursing sciences Enugu Campus in 1996.
She current works as a Critical care nurse at the NHS.
Uche Nwachukwu
Treasurer
Uche is a graduate of Business Administration from UNN.
Studied Project Management and Masters in Social Work. I am currently working as a Social Worker/Practice Educator/BIA in the London Bi-Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and Westminster.
Uche loves farming, travelling and getting out and about with friends.
She looks forward to the yearly UNAA-UK Alumni Convention for a great catch up.

Holds a BSc in Pure & Industrial Chemistry (UNN). Acquired an MSc in Petroleum Technology from the University of Teesside as well as a PgD and MSc in L&T from the University of Oxford, Kellogg College. Possesses experience in Banking & Investment, Oil & Gas Industry as well as in the Education sector. Currently works as a Chemistry Specialist and Head of Year with Durham County Council.
Olufemi Olukayode

Femi holds B.SC in Mental Health Nursing from University of Salford. He practices as Psychiatric Registered Nurse and currently working with Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust. Femi holds both Bachelor Degree and Master Degree in VTE/VTE Agric from University of Nigeria.

Obianuju Chiamaka Amamgbo

Obianuju Chiamaka Amamgbo is a graduate of Linguistics from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), and holds a Master’s degree in Management of Information Technology (MIT) from the University of Nottingham. She currently serves as a Senior Officer in the Civil Service.
She is the founder of The Muscular Dystrophy Campaign Nigeria (TMDCN), a not-for-profit charity organisation dedicated to supporting individuals and families living with muscular dystrophy in Nigeria through advocacy, awareness, and patient support.
Obianuju is also a published author, with two fictional novels to her credit; “Tears on Her Pillow” and “Hunted by Hawks”.
In her leisure time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching sports including football, tennis, basketball, and athletics, reading and writing, and engaging in volunteering activities.
